Things to Make: Pinterest Inspiration - T-Shirt Refashion

Who out there is on Pinterest?  Who out there on Pinterest has about a BAZILLION project ideas that they're sitting on right now?

So do I.

So in an effort to not make my Pinterest obsession useless, I'm putting it to work.  My goal is to try out at least ONE PIN a month...if not more!  I'll be posting about my successes and attempts here at least once a month!

I'm starting my
series with THIS, which I had pinned in my Things to Wear pinboard:

Easiest T-Shirt Refashion EVER - by The Naked Doll on Craftster

And here's what I came up with:

I love that I took one of my favorite comfy shirts (ie. FRUMPY and SHAPELESS), and turned it into something cute and feminine - that I can wear in public without being heinously embarrassed!  GENIUS!  And it was so simple and quick!!  Really!  You must try this!!!

I love this! I'm completely addicted to Pinterest and am actively taunting other friends who are trying to resist teh awesome. I found a different t-shirt glamour-upper pin and plan to try it.

What a fabulous idea- a Pinterest challenge! I'm excited to see all you do! I may have to set a similar goal or myself. And your shirt turned out great! It really does look nice and feminine :)

I would get on Pinterest if only my request would be answered! I have tried several times with no success.

You look so cute! I've been trying to give myself Pinterest challenges, too, but so far I've only gotten one done. Ha ha.

I am a novice sewer. I wish they were more detailed instructions. Is the hem trimmed off and sewn to the neckline or is the material just folded over to make a casing at the neckline? I would love to do this with my work tshirts, they are so ugly. Any help posted would be appreciated.
