We had kind of a serious weekend. A good friend, and his sweet wife, lost their newborn baby girl last Monday. So heartbreaking. My hubby went down to Arizona for the funeral, while I stayed home with our kiddos. There's nothing like seeing that kind of loss, to make you appreciate what you have. In the LDS church we believe that little children and babies are free from sin, and therefore return immediately to be their their Heavenly parents. And although there is comfort in knowing this...it doesn't take the sting and hurt of loss away. (You can learn more about our beliefs by clicking here.) I feel so blessed to have my children and my husband...and also the knowledge that there is more to life than just this mortal existence.
Sorry for that super serious start to the week. I just felt like I needed to share!
Anyway...

Hi Sarah.. I'm so sorry for your friend's loss... and for the sadness it brings to your family..I'm sure your love and your husbands presence at the funeral helped them a little.

For some reason my link shows up more than once. The first time it didn't go through so I added it again, but obviously it did go through. I can't find a way to delete the extra link. Sorry for the confusion.
I shared one of my favourite posts with you today. It's an article about brain food. In my quest to find the ultimate smoothie recipe to help my daughter here in the UK with her studies. Having developed it and seen the results on my over-worked control group, I just had to share it with everybody- it really, really works! BRAINPOWER SMOOTHIES
Wishing you a wonderful week. :))
Sarah, don't hate me! I posted and then I changed my blog address. Stupid. But number 68 and 69 don't work and I can't delete them now. :(
So sorry about your friend. It's heartbreaking for sure. My friends lost their baby last year, the day after she was blessed. It makes me so glad to have an eternal perspective!
Thanks for the link party! I'm so excited about this one!! :) Prayers to your friends!
